I managed to solve the problem by setting 'Configure S-ATA as RAID' in
the bios to 'Yes'. No idea why this works, because I have only on sata-
drive and no raid.

The working IDE Configuration is:
 - Onboard IDE Operate Mode [Enhanced Mode]
 - Enhanced Mode Support On [S-ATA]
 - Configure S-ATA as RAID [Yes]
 - Serial ATA BOOTROM [Disabled]

kernel: generic 2.6.20-6.11
