Public bug reported:

when I run karmic alpha 6 live the new network manager looks for a wifi
card that I cannot install via live cd. with 9.04 i click on network
manger and it finds my wifi connections whether live cd on installed.

this looks like a step backwards for network manager. I hope by the
final 9.10 that network manager works as well as it does in 9.04. I
don't care what driver it picks as long as it connects to the internet!

Please check the new netowrk manager and make sure its working as well
or better than the one in 9.04.

Thanks, I'll wait until Oct 29 for the final version and hope it works
then.
