Public bug reported: Running system test (checkbox app) and trying perform test of bluetooth headset choose my headset in and out in sound properties panel. I set system sound theme and hear system sounds in headset. I see as record level blink in dialogue input. Only first column blink when I say something, if it does matter (maybe, something wrong with input level?). But i hear nothing trying to perform test (press button, say word and want to listei what I say).
I successful use this headset with my mobile phone, then I can guarantee headset can work good. lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu karmic (development branch) Release: 9.10 ProblemType: Bug AplayDevices: **** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices **** card 0: Intel [HDA Intel], device 0: ALC269 Analog [ALC269 Analog] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 Architecture: i386 ArecordDevices: **** List of CAPTURE Hardware Devices **** card 0: Intel [HDA Intel], device 0: ALC269 Analog [ALC269 Analog] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 AudioDevicesInUse: USER PID ACCESS COMMAND /dev/snd/controlC0: ubuntu 3063 F.... pulseaudio Card0.Amixer.info: Card hw:0 'Intel'/'HDA Intel at 0xf7eb8000 irq 16' Mixer name : 'Realtek ALC269' Components : 'HDA:10ec0269,1043831a,00100004' Controls : 12 Simple ctrls : 7 CheckboxCommand: alsa_record_playback CheckboxData: I hear sounds from system sound theme, i see blinking level indicato on input tab of sound source. but not hear own words, saw to headsed CheckboxTest: alsa_record_playback_bluetooth Date: Sun Sep 27 04:26:36 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 LiveMediaBuild: Ubuntu 9.10 "Karmic Koala" - Alpha i386 (20090926) Package: alsa-base 1.0.20+dfsg-1ubuntu4 PackageArchitecture: all ProcEnviron: SHELL=/bin/bash LANG=en_US.UTF-8 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-11.36-generic SourcePackage: alsa-driver Tags: checkbox-bug Uname: Linux 2.6.31-11-generic i686 ** Affects: alsa-driver (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug checkbox-bug i386 -- bluetooth headset sound test does not pass with Plantronics 925 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/437486 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
