At random times pulseaudio stops playback and then refuses to start playback up
again. Following is a log obtained by doing exactly these steps:
1) sudo killall pulseaudio #to ensure it is not running already
2) pulseaudio --log-level=debug
3) Open System>Preferences>Sound #gnome-sound-properties from the CLI, but I
did it via GUI
4) Sound Events> Sound playback: Already set to "autodetect", I did not touch it
5) Press "Test" and leave running for around 2 seconds
6) Stop "Test" #Test ran perfectly fine, other than no sound actually playing.
No errors reported on that end.
7) Close pulseaudio via ctrl+c

Here is the output:
pulseaudio --log-level=debug

I believe the source of the problem to be this:

I: module-suspend-on-idle.c: Sink
alsa_output.pci_1002_4383_sound_card_0_alsa_playback_0 idle for too long,
suspending ...
I: module-alsa-sink.c: Device suspended...
I: module-suspend-on-idle.c: Source
alsa_output.pci_1002_4383_sound_card_0_alsa_playback_0.monitor idle for too
long, suspending ...

However, I am not a developer, so I do not know.

** Affects: pulseaudio (Ubuntu)
