Interesting, I also had this "X-Disconnect" Bug two days ago about 3 times with Enlightenment DR17. I switched to the latest stable KDE and now I get "only" sporadic restarts of X. NVidia Driver is 185.18.36 from NVidia, kernel 2.6.28-15. System is Dell XPS M1330. There was a time when everything was rock solid, even with Suspend and stuff. Not that is gone.
