I deleted all the "adobe-flashplugin" files I could find on the system
and I was able to download ubuntu one (I had it before but was not
working properly.). From what I learned, I was using adobe-flashplugin
for jaunty and some of the dependencies were in conflict as I was
running Karmic. Anyway Karmic would not let me update/upgrade or install
new applications until adobe-flashplugin was reinstalled and then
deleted. Unfortunately synaptic or the terminal werent able to delete
whatever adobe files were conflicting. So I manually deleted every
adobe-flashplugin file I could find. My system is back to "normal" now.
The only one problem I was left with is that I dont have an adobe-flashplugin
to play youtube videos and gnash wont play them either. Terminal tells me:
Package adobe-flashplugin is not available, but is referred to by another
package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
E: Package adobe-flashplugin has no installation candidate
** Changed in: adobe-flashplugin (Ubuntu)
