Oh i get it. thank you. I actually figured out the problem. I had to run
"sudo dpkg --configure -a" not "sudo dpkg configure -a" (notice the two
dashes before "configure") so now I don't have that error anymore but I
still have sound problems. Thanks for helping so far.
