Mount a remote filesystem using GVFS (i.e. "Connect to Server", I tried with SFTP and SMB) with ODT files on it. 2. Check that file type for the ODT files in list view reads "OpenDocument Text". 3. Double-click the file Expected result: File opens with OpenOffice Writer Actual Result: File opens with File Roller This does not happen with local ODT files, nor with the same remote filesystem using a "fixed" mount, i.e. "mount -t cifs ...". Occured on Ubuntu 9.04 32bit. - ProblemType: Bug - Architecture: i386 - Date: Mon Sep 21 12:59:20 2009 - DistroRelease: Ubuntu 8.04 - ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/nautilus - NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia - Package: nautilus 1:2.22.5.1-0ubuntu3 - PackageArchitecture: i386 - ProcEnviron: - PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games:/opt/real/RealPlayer - LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 - SHELL=/bin/bash - SourcePackage: nautilus - Uname: Linux 2.6.24-24-generic i686 + <removed apport details and files, because the machine I'm reporting + from is not the machine where the bug occured.
