Public bug reported: Binary package hint: fluxbox
1.) Ubuntu karmic (development branch) 2.) fluxbox 1.1.1-2 just in case, some additional infos: xorg 1:7.4+3ubuntu5 xdm 1:1.1.8-6 lspci: VGA = ATI Technologies Inc Radeon Mobility M6 LY resolution=1024x768 The problem: Most of the time when moving the mouse pointer through the fluxbox menus. The mouse pointer is overwritten by horizontal lines which shape a partially filled box. The lines change from time to time (getting thicker, different colors), so sometimes the pointer is almost completely overwritten. It is like a bigger box surrounding the mouse pointer. "Looks" as if the memory of the mouse pointer image was damaged. When moving the destroyed mouse pointer into a region of a window where the pointer is changed, most of the time it is restored to normal when leaving the window. Moving it back onto the desktop, after a right click for the fluxbox menu, it is destroyed again. However, a few times the "edit/text cursor" mouse pointer was destroyed, too (moving from terminal to firefox input field). Within Gnome, the mouse pointer is ok. ** Affects: fluxbox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- mouse pointer becomes block filled with lines https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/432776 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
