OK, I accept that the bug is marked invalid, but take into account that
servers tend to be conservative, and what you consider as "old" was
replaced now at my enterprise, and is still in standby, just in case the
new server fails, which already happened due to a serious bug. CentOs,
for example, is still a very popular choice, our web servers use that,
for example. We are still running a 24/24 FC6, and I doubt it will be
replaced before one year passes. Conclusion: if you use the latest
software, this bug may be marked invalid, if compatibility is a sought
feature, this is a serious flaw.
