Binary package hint: update-manager
Running Karmic, updated from Jaunty using alternate installer from 12 Aug 2009.
Use the update manager regularly to update the entire system. Has been working
well till this week. From approx 14 Sep 2009 onwards, update manager fails with
404 Not Found for several packages.
A listing of the error message is attached.
Browsing to the actual directories shows that the packages are indeed
missing.
