Also, is there a way to use append with notify-send ? As far as I can
see, its use, with something like :

anto...@lambda:~$ notify-send -i notification-message-im hey john -h 
string:x-canonical-append:allowed
anto...@lambda:~$ notify-send -i notification-message-im hey bob -h 
string:x-canonical-append:allowed

is prevented because notify-send doesn't cumulate IDs (from the debug
output of notify-osd). Is there a particular reason for this requirement
? I'm trying to build notifications for emacs using notify-osd, and this
prevents me from using the append feature. Why not just append if the
hint is provided and the title and app match ? This should be enough to
filter all false positive.
