Thank you for the hint. Could you update the wiki to reflect that ? Also, is there a way to use append with notify-send ? As far as I can see, its use, with something like :
anto...@lambda:~$ notify-send -i notification-message-im hey john -h string:x-canonical-append:allowed anto...@lambda:~$ notify-send -i notification-message-im hey bob -h string:x-canonical-append:allowed is prevented because notify-send doesn't cumulate IDs (from the debug output of notify-osd). Is there a particular reason for this requirement ? I'm trying to build notifications for emacs using notify-osd, and this prevents me from using the append feature. Why not just append if the hint is provided and the title and app match ? This should be enough to filter all false positive. -- notify-osd doesn't merge similar notifications https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/430362 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
