Public bug reported:

This bug affects Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala AMD64 Alternate CD Alpha 4,
Alpha 5 and daily builds 16/09/2009.

After completing more than 70 % of the installation of the base system,
the installer requests the insertion of the installation CD. However,
the same installation CD is already inserted. Trying to continue does
not work. Trying to go back does not work. Ejecting the CD and
reinserting does not work.

The bug is independent of the options chosen: normal installation,
expert mode, different combinations of modules loaded.

Significantly, one of the last processes before the installation stopped
was the configuration of APT sources.

Going to console 4 shows some errors concerning Perl not being able to
find locales. Apparently locales were not configured despite of the fact
of being chosen during the installation process. I selected the defaults
English language (UTF), etc., except for German keyboard and Central
Europe time.

** Affects: debian-installer (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
