Public bug reported:
Under Kubuntu, applications spuriously the window menu. That is, with hands away from the machine, the "File" menu of the current window will become highlighted and active, so that ESC is required to resume previous activity, and (very irritatingly) further keystrokes activate menu items. This will happen within about a minute, sometimes less. Moreover this /seems/ to happen (only?) when media-playing apps are running --- I've noticed it under amarok and totem movie player.
