Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gdb
IMHO, one of the main features of the 6.8.50 release is the inclusion of Python that can be used e.g. for pretty printing STL container types. However, the gdb package in Karmic (6.8.50.20090628-1ubuntu3) does not include any Python scripts. The scripts seemed to be included in an older 6.8.50 release but not in the current one.
