Public bug reported: Binary package hint: flightgear
Using the current release of 9.10 and flightgear, this application locks up my machine. I click on the menu entry or run from a command line shell, it opens a splash window, reports several stages of initialization, starts an aircraft engine sound track, displays a menu bar on the spash, and takes away the mouse cursor and all keyboard response. The sound track continues, the system load goes to maximum, but I can't change virtual consoles or get any keyboard or ui interaction to work at all. I've tried this with both amd64 and i386 installs of Karmic Koala, same result. With quick fingers, one can open a flightgear menu before the machine locks up with the menu displayed. -- rec -- lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu karmic (development branch) Release: 9.10 r...@elf11:~$ apt-cache policy flightgear flightgear: Installed: (none) Candidate: 1.9.1-1ubuntu1 Version table: 1.9.1-1ubuntu1 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com karmic/universe Packages r...@elf11:~$ ** Affects: flightgear (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- locks up machine https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/428591 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
