Yes. Please try a snapshot of alsa-driver (http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/tiwai/snapshot/alsa- driver-20090911.tar.bz2), and please remove the model quirk you're using. If the internal mic doesn't function right away, please try model=dell-s14.
