I'm still seeing these issues with the image from 20090910. The kernel is 2.6.31-100-imx51.
Here's the jest of it. If I plug in the pegasus based usb-nic, dmesg will show that driver loading, but ps ax shows modprobe hung. lsusb will also hang. When I reboot and try again with the dm9601 based nic, the driver will load and put out an error that it can't find the mac address. No hung processes, and lsusb will work (after hanging for about a minute). Unplugging this nic will then cause the usb ports to not detect new devices (like usb memory sticks). I have not found a way to save any data yet, as I have not been able to get a serial console working well. The "console=ttymxc0,115200" addition to the boot script doesn't give out much info through the serial port. -- DM9601 or Pegasus based USB NICs dont find their MAC address under 2.6.31-100-imx51 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/424400 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
