Hi Evan, The bug is somewhat fixed. Please compare the program to its functionality in Jaunty.
In Jaunty, I plug in the USB disk, which is abstracted as "Kingston USB Drive" in the "Disk to use" destination field In Karmic (usb-creator 0.2.5) I plug in the disk, which is not abstracted. I am proposed in the "Disk to use" destination field to select from /dev/sdc /dev/sdc1 and /dev/sr0 Questions: 1) Is there a reason for having the CDROM device as a destination? 2) Is there a reason why we are not abstracting the name of the device? ** Changed in: usb-creator (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => New -- Not able to create a bootable USB key using Ubuntu 9.10 Alpha https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/415103 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
