I was not in the kvm group but I am now and the slow startup is about the same. I added my self to the group and rebooted. The time difference is about 40 seconds. It took me about 2 seconds to hit the up arrow and execute the kvm command after the date command and then the date command after I saw the black screen and bios come up.
