Public bug reported: Launchpad is such a great tool for developing software that I miss it everytime I work on a project that doesn't (or can't) use it. Because of this Launchpad would be even better if it was possible to setup an instance of this powerful tool without a big hassle where ever you need a web-based tool for managing a software project. This would also be a great addition to Ubuntu Server since it would allow companies to use Launchpad (and Ubuntu Server) for their internal development.
Apart from the technical challanges packaging launchpad would also require to remove all the branding and find a new name to use for such an unbranded package. This new package would then be to Launchpad what Iceweasel is to Firefox.
