$ ls -l /etc/shadow
-rw-r----- 1 root shadow 1094 2009-07-16 11:33 /etc/shadow

My computer was configured to use LDAP, so that I can access a remote
filesystem after logging in. I think that this last PAM upgrade removed the
necessary lines from the files in /etc/pam.d, but there are still references to
ldap in /etc/nsswitch:
> passwd:         files ldap
> group:          files ldap
> shadow:         files ldap

Today I have upgraded the PAM from 1.0.1-9ubuntu1 to 1.0.1-9ubuntu1.1 on
Jaunty. After the upgrade, I cannot seem to unlock the screen after
gnome-screensaver locks it. I am still able to login in gdm, or in the virtual
console.
