hasi, I have the same problems on Kubuntu Jaunty with OOo 3.1.1 and on Kubuntu Karmic & OOo 3.1.1 alpha. And in OOo 3.1.1 from ppa in Jaunty I can't open any file via file picker, after selecting the file, the dialog is disappear, but nothing happens. Removing openoffice.org-kde solves this problem, but all open dialogs changes to non-kde style.
