Ok so I had a deeper look; there are other packaging issues but not
worth diverging more from Debian to fix them.

Despite being a trivial package, I think it should carry proper copyright / 
licensing information though:
- debian/copyright says:
It was downloaded from http://www.squid-cache.org
but I couldn't find any such download; it should probably explain how the 
source package was created -- or add a get-orig-source target which does the 
right thing and hence documents what needs to be done
- there's no header on any file in the tree and no COPYING or LICENSE file at 
all

Also, the Makefile was generated by automake but there's no Makefile.am.

Could you please work with the Debian maintainer to fix these issues?
