Public bug reported:

dpkg will not install packages when A depends on B and B depends on A.

The packages are not in any repository in sources.list.

Though I assume that cyclical dependencies may be resolved if the to be
installed packages
are in the sources.list file I can not be sure as there is no man nor info
documentation on this issue.

Any suggestions?

ps
I am having some trouble adding a local file repository eg: file:/home/packages.
