Public bug reported: dpkg will not install packages when A depends on B and B depends on A.
The packages are not in any repository in sources.list. Though I assume that cyclical dependencies may be resolved if the to be installed packages are in the sources.list file I can not be sure as there is no man nor info documentation on this issue. Any suggestions? ps I am having some trouble adding a local file repository eg: file:/home/packages. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- g++-4.3_4.3.3-5ubuntu4_i386.deb cyclically depends on libstdc++6_4.3.3-5ubuntu4_i386.deb https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/426545 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
