Reproducible? Yes. To recreate, open an application such as Firefox or MPlayer and enter its fullscreen mode. Try to Printscreen or Alt-Printscreen. Observe that the prompt will not appear until fullscreen mode is exited. If Escape is pressed before exiting fullscreen mode, the hidden screenshot prompt will be exited.
