Binary package hint: libpcap0.8
On a Hardy 8.04 server, darkstat with libpcap0.8 performed excellently
(using Intrepid's packages).
On a Jaunty 9.04 server, darkstat with libpcap0.8 (1.0.0-1) was extremely slow
(accessing via lynx resulted in inconsistent response times, as "fast" as 3
seconds, as slow as more than a minute)
I then dpkg'ed libpcap0.8 (0.9.8-5) from Intrepid, restarted darkstat, and the
performance was good again (instantaneous responses).
Both servers are running 64-bit kernels.
