What is the output of `modinfo sony_acpi`? On my edgy machine the sony_acpi module is located at /lib/modules/2.6.17-10-generic/kernel/drivers/acpi/sony_acpi.ko, so there should be a similar path in feisty.
If it appears available, run `sudo modprobe sony_acpi` to load the module.
