Hi there, This is just to confirm that this is still happening in 9.04. It's purely maildrop issue, fetchmail has nothing to do with it. You can test it by calling: maildrop -d <username> It will issue the error message. Looks like maildrop was compiled to be a part of courier. As mentioned above Courier-authlib is installed, but not running.
Nevertheless the email is still delivered.
