Public bug reported: Binary package hint: network-manager
After upgrading Network Manager my built-in mobile broadband modem (ZTE CDMA, ppp0) stopped working. It would still show up but it would get stuck trying to connect. Reverting the update fixed the problem. I just wanted to report it. This is the update I did that made things break: network-manager (0.7.1~rc4.1.cf199a964-0ubuntu2) to 0.8~a~git.20090820t182117.cb60390-0ubuntu2 network-manager-gnome (0.7.1.git.3.0461fff8-0ubuntu2) to 0.8~a~git.20090818t151413.a8b7eed-0ubuntu2 lsusb tells me my card is: Bus 002 Device 007: ID 05c6:6000 Qualcomm, Inc. ** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- network manager 0.8 does not connect to the auto mobile modem and also makes the modem unreognizable https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/425059 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
