Hey Sebastien,

I've subscribed you because Stefan said you're our man. We
(https://launchpad.net/~voice-driven-ui) would like a Feature Freeze
exception to get PocketSphinx into Karmic.

As David already pointed out, it's one of the main elements when it
comes to speech recognition on GNU/Linux and there was a discussion at
UDS Barcelona where it was decided to include it. As it doesn't affect
and other packages, I expect it to be quiet safe.

Also, it makes it possible to get gnome-voice-control 0.3 or later into
Ubuntu (currently we have 0.2 -which uses sphinx3 instead of
PocketSphinx- but that version doesn't work on amd64). I'm not sure yet
if we can get this done for Karmic *, but still having the requirements
for it in Karmic would be great.

(* So far I haven't been able to get gnome-voice-control 0.3 to build,
and the version from SVN which builds also has some problems - I'm
waiting for information from upstream now.)

Thanks
