No need to be sorry, you are the one having the bug. Removing the config to try to fix a bug means dropping the datas that can be used to figure what was wrong if the cleanup fix the problem. For the backtrace could you try to get one with libglib2.0-0-dbg evolution-data-server-dbg evolution-dbg installed?
