I'm experiencing an issue with similar symptoms (enter password at boot,
the drive unlocks but then nothing happens). I think my problem might
be caused by changes to initramfs-tools that occurred after you reported
your bug, however. Just so I can be sure that my problem is different
than your problem, would you please list the packages that were updated
between 2009-09-25 and the time you first noticed the bug? You can find
this information in /var/log/dpkg.log.
Once you have posted this information, please change the status back to
'New'. Thanks!
