Addendum to my previous message. I was prompted to post this bug because of problems forwarding a particular message. Since then I tried replying to the message, but replacing the reply address with my own, and sending in "plain text and html" format. I also added a few comments to the beginning of the message. This worked because I could then forward the received message to friends without problem -- both the text and inline images were included in the forwarded message. I am uploading the original message in case that helps.
I wonder if there is an issue with the plain text vs html settings when forwarding messages.
