Just tried this: 1. Switched off machine. 2. Disconnected AC power and removed the battery. 3. Pressed On/Off switch for 5 seconds. 4. Put in battery, re-connected AC power. 5. Pressed On/Off in order to restart machine.
This was recommended on http://www.computerbase.de/forum/showthread.php?t=469371 in order to perform a PMU reset.
