Here is another one: ffmpeg is not installable with the extra libraries. While every other package that depends on these can be installed with any of the library flavours (stripped or unstripped), Ffmpeg, for some reason, now forces the striped version.
Also after updating libavcodec-unstripped-52 to version 4:0.5+svn20090706-1ubuntu1+extra1 I lost at least the following encoding codecs: MPG2 (CODEC_ID_MPEG2VIDEO), MP43 (CODEC_ID_MSMPEG4V3) and MP4V (CODEC_ID_MPEG4) All of these were available in the previous version.
