Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution
I had made an appointment with a client today and went to add it to one of my calendars in evolution, but when I opened the calendars window, all my appointments from all of my calendars had disappeared. When I tried to add a new appointment to any calendar I recieved a message on the status bar but it flashed on and off too fast for me to read. If i run evolution from the command line I get the following read out when starting: ** (evolution:8015): DEBUG: mailto URL command: evolution %s ** (evolution:8015): DEBUG: mailto URL program: evolution Changing the queries (contains? "summary" "") (evolution:8015): calendar-gui-WARNING **: Unable to load the calendar Unknown error (evolution:8015): calendar-gui-WARNING **: Unable to load the calendar Unknown error (evolution:8015): calendar-gui-WARNING **: Unable to load the calendar Unknown error then if i try to add an appointment I get the following error: (evolution:8015): calendar-gui-WARNING **: Default client not loaded (evolution:8015): calendar-gui-WARNING **: Default client not loaded (evolution:8015): calendar-gui-WARNING **: Unable to load the calendar Unknown error (evolution:8015): calendar-gui-WARNING **: Unable to load the calendar Unknown error I am Currently using Ubuntu 8.10 - Intrepid Ibex The version of evolution is - 2.24.3-0ubuntu1 Regards, John Curwood ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 DistroRelease: Debian testing/unstable ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/evolution NonfreeKernelModules: ath_hal Package: evolution 2.24.3-0ubuntu1 ProcEnviron: PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games LANG=en_GB.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: evolution Uname: Linux 2.6.27-14-generic i686 UnreportableReason: This is not a genuine Debian package ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug -- All appointments have disappeared from calendars window https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/418039 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
