Xuacu, It looks like one of the Google Summer of Code projects, which involved a lot of work on Amarok's playlist, has been completed [1]. One of the features that it has is the ability to sort by directory (see picture [2]). Now, I haven't tested this myself, but it looks like what you were looking for.
This code is not yet available in Ubuntu without compiling Amarok from source, but it will make it into the upcoming Amarok 2.2 release. Please let us know once that release is available whether or not you feel the bug is fixed. In the meantime, I'll mark this as Fix Committed. Thanks!
