Public bug reported: Binary package hint: network-manager
Just tried using a "bob" (Austria) 3G adapter with network-manager on Jaunty and noticed that the (rather new) carrier is not known by n-m. The carrier's connection settings are: APN: bob.at Number: *99# Username: d...@bob.at Password: ppp IP/DNS settings: fully dynamic (including DNS!) Authentication methods: PAP or CHAP That should be everything. I have just tested those settings and those seem to be working correctly. -- lsb_release -rd: Description: Ubuntu 9.04 Release: 9.04 apt-cache policy network-manager: network-manager: Installiert: 0.7.1~rc4.1.cf199a964-0ubuntu2 Kandidat: 0.7.1~rc4.1.cf199a964-0ubuntu2 Versions-Tabelle: *** 0.7.1~rc4.1.cf199a964-0ubuntu2 0 500 http://at.archive.ubuntu.com jaunty/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- network-manager does not know 3G carrier "bob" (Austria) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/417391 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
