Public bug reported: The documentation explains that you can set kernel parameters with the kopt command. This way they should be preserved even after a kernel update, e.g.
#kopt=max_loop=64 should make it always possible to mount more than 8 loop devices. but after running update-grub this line is ignored and stripped from menu.lst. I appreciate any help. ** Affects: grub (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- update-grub ignores kopt settings https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/416263 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
