I can confirm that installing and setting up properly gnome-user-share make the deal. I have a Nokia 6630 and I can send files from it to my laptop now.
There's the problem of the notification of gnome-user-share that stays here after the transfer and which is completely useless because you cannot interact with it. I will make an update of the documentation page on the French Ubuntu community documentation.
