After doing a dist-upgrade today (8/17/2009) since my last one on the night of 8/16/2009, suspend to ram seems better. It now wakes up, but not by hitting a key on the keyboard. When I do that, the keyboard lights come on, but nothing else. If I click a mouse button, the mouse lights turn on, but nothing else. Finally, if I hit the power button on the machine, it turns on and sometimes it goes to the login screen and I have to log in and apport (I think thats the right program) tells me that Xorg had a failure and sometimes it brings me right back to my session like I expect. Which one of these scenarios I encounter does not seem to be easily reproducible.
As a side note in case it helps, sound stopped working last night. Today, after the aforementioned dist-upgrade, audio works, but only after I suspend and resume. A cold boot or a restart and sound is gone again until I go through another suspend-resume cycle. -- failed to recover from suspend to ram https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/414991 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
