Public bug reported: Binary package hint: scim
The Unicode standard 5.1 Code chart shows characters 0c58 and oc59 (telugu- Historic Phonetic Variants). SCIM 1.4.6 however, does not display them- even as it is enabled under RTS. " ~c and ~j display ? because they are not included in the Unicode standard " says the SCIM help. An update in SCIM, incorporating all recent changes to Unicode standard is needed, I guess. ** Affects: scim (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Unicode characters 0c58 and 0c59 (telugu) are not supported in SCIM https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/414653 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
