Public bug reported: I have a K8N Neo 4 Platinum motherboard which has a built in Sound Blaster live 24 bit sound card. Product can be viewed at http://www.msicomputer.com/product/p_spec.asp?model=K8N_Neo4_Platinum/SLI.
In 9.04 my sound works perfectly except for 1 bug (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/303679). It shows up as ca0106. I have just tried 9.10 alpha 4 (64 bit) via the live cd and I can not get the sound to work at all. Under the new sound configuration GUI. The detected hardware list is empty. My sound card is not detected and thus all output is going to a null device.
