Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: pulseaudio

Using a T400p with Intel ICH9 Soundcard and Ubuntu 9.10 Alpha 4 there's
no sound.

In Soundpreferences the output plugin is "null". After killing and restarting
pulseaudio everything works as expected.
The Output plugin is now "Internal Audio Analog Stereo". Maybe racecondition.

** Affects: pulseaudio (Ubuntu)
