Including the changes he recently pushed? (they're in my branch) The troubleshooting process I outlined with David B in #ubuntu-audio- help is: 1) echo autospawn = no|tee -a ~/.pulse/client.conf 2) from a fresh boot, make sure pulseaudio is not running (killall pulseaudio if necessary) 3) speaker-test -c2 -Dplughw:0 (assuming card 0 is the desired one; you probably want to use the string instead of the index, see /proc/asound/cards) 4) (un)plug headphones from the jack to verify sensing is working What will be most useful is the contents of /proc/asound/card*/codec* while the two differences in step (4) are done, i.e., cat /proc/asound/card*/codec* while hp are unplugged and once again while they are plugged -- cannot any play sound Dell XPS 1330 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/410844 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
