Public bug reported: I was just using my machine normally. Suddenly I got a hard X crash to black screen and had to force-reboot. When I started up again, kerneloops told me there had been a problem and apport started as well.
I see a number of similar bugs, but I don't know if they are the same or not. I don't want to follow the wrong one, so I figure I'll submit this new bug and let someone who knows more about this issue handle triage. Thanks.
