I fired up update-manager from the command-line, and selected the option
to install new packages. Wasn't running anything except for Firefox, a
terminal, and gedit. I wasn't really trying to paste inside the dialog
-- I kind of accidentally hit the wrong mouse button, and then tried to
click on the text box so I could enter my password. Complete accident.

I fired up the dialog again, and clicked around in hopes of being able
to enter keys again. That didn't work but in the meantime, I found a new
problem. I've noticed that when I right-click the textbox multiple
times, I get multiple dialogs offering to do Cut/Copy/Paste! I've
attached a screenshot that shows the new problem.

I don't really want the Cut/Copy/Paste functionality. I just wanted to
report this in case it helped to some a problem or something.
