I have a similar problem. When Gwibber starts up or fetches the message list, it prints out below error message on console _ I ran it with -v -d options.
image_cache HTTP Error 404: Not Found whilst fetching http://s3.amazonaws.com/twitter_production/profile_images/53930040/개죽이_normal.jpg One of my friend has a profile image which its' name is mixed with Korean and underscore "_". I can't sure which one causes this problem.
