I was lazy yesterday, and didn't wan't to spend time recompiling the packages, so I decided to try to install the karmic packages on my KDE 4.3 upgraded Jaunty.
Using the binary version from Anthony's ppa repository seems to work. The only requirement is that you need to also download and install libgcal0 from the karamic repositories, but the binary package available from packages.ubuntu.com installs perfectly on Jaunty.
